The four Australian Championship races are used as U23 Selection races each Australian winter. These are two classic and two freestyle events, and two sprint and two distance events. Results are taken on percentage behind the fastest Australian Open athlete in each event. Only athletes in the U23 age bracket (aged 20-22) are eligible.
