The AUSXC U16 Emerging Talent Camps provide the opportunity for the best U16 athletes in the country to train together under the direction of National Team coaches and gain insight into training methods and expectations of the National Junior Team. The camps are held twice annually, on-snow in September and at the AIS in April leading into the Australian Rollerski Championship.
Participation in the camps is by invitation only, based on performances during the Australian winter and also recommendations from State Team coaches. Most invited athletes will already be involved with the State Pathway Programs, however this is not a prerequisite.
